Welcome to First Grade! I am so excited about finally getting to meet
and work with each of you. I have a special video for all my new friends.
Here is some information that you might find helpful.
First Grade Academic Schedule:
7:45 - 8:45 Reading Block
8:45 - 9:15 Skills Block
9:15 - 9: 25 Break
9:25 - 10:25 Math Block
10:25 -10:55 Lunch: Parents are invited to have lunch with your child.
Please do not bring food from outside vendors. The link on this page
will provide more information about the cafeteria.
11:15 - 12:00 Small Groups: Math
12:00 -12:40 Related Arts
12:45 - 1:30 Small Groups: Reading
1:30 - 2:00 Recess and Snack Time
1:30 Snack Time- Please provide a snack that does not require
a spoon or fork. Students should bring a water bottle to be used for lunch,
water break after recess, and for a drink during snack.
2:20 Dismissal - Please write in the agenda how your child goes home each day. If you need bus information, click on the link on this page.
I am available to answer any questions you may have via email. You may also use your child's agenda to communicate items to me. Please allow 24 hours for a response. You will receive a weekly newsletter to keep you informed about your child's progress and upcoming events.
